Backup iPhone game progress without jailbreaking

This tutorial shows how to back up iPhone games along with game progress and transfer them to another iOS device without jailbreaking and without the use of iCloud and iTunes.

1. First download CopyTrans Apps free beta which runs on PC and is a program designed to help you manage and back up iPhone games and game-related data. Download the program from here:

2. Run the program on your computer, connect your iPhone and wait for the iOS apps and games to load. All the apps appear on the left of the program window

3. Select the game that you wish to backup. You can select multiple games and apps at the same time. Then click on the "Backup App" button

4. Locate where to back up the game and its scores. Click OK. I chose the PC Desktop

5. Confirm the backup by clicking Ok from the next prompt

6. The selected games along with the game saves are saved to the computer location of your choice as separate IPA files. In this case, I backed up Candy Crush from my iPhone

Restore iOS games and game scores to another iPhone or iPad

1. In a similar way, you can restore the backed up games and game preferences to another iOS device. To do so, run CopyTrans Apps and connect the other iOS device

2. Now drag and drop the IPA file from your computer to the main program window

The game along with the game scores is restored to the other iPhone or iPad.

Everything, including game scores is as you left it on the original iPhone.
